At James Island Christian School, our athletic program includes 10 sports with opportunities to participate at the Varsity, JV, MS, and Youth levels.
 
JICS participates in the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA).

Athletics is an integral part of the educational process that impacts the lives of many students. Our program is designed to encourage personal improvement, foster school spirit, and provide a place for students to develop physically, mentally, and spiritually. Participation in athletics offers benefits that extend far beyond the game—teaching discipline, teamwork, resilience, and leadership. We value effort, attitude, and character as much as ability, knowing that every athlete has a unique role to play. Whether stepping onto the field for the first time or competing at a high level, each student-athlete is encouraged to strive for excellence while honoring Christ through their actions, words, and sportsmanship.

Our paramount goal is to pursue with excellence an athletic program that seeks to glorify God and to use athletics as a tool to teach, coach, and model Jesus Christ.
